Support
Help with connecting your account, viewing reports or understanding a failed request.
Get help
For bugs, installation help and feature requests, open an issue in GitHub Issues. Issues are public: include only non-sensitive, redacted information. This research preview has no guaranteed support response time.
Privacy, deletion and account concerns
Use the private contact form to contact the service operator privately. It opens Google Forms and asks for a reply email and your request; no Google sign-in is required. Responses are not published or shared with other respondents. Do not include credentials, sensitive datasets or full chat transcripts. See the privacy notice for how contact records are handled.
Request a Galaxy site
The common-site list includes Galaxy US, Europe, Australia, France and Canada. Find other public servers in the Galaxy server directory. Other sites require publisher review; a directory listing alone does not enable a connection.
Open a site request in GitHub Issues. Include the site's canonical HTTPS URL, its name and hosting institution, a public operator contact or website, and your intended non-sensitive research use. You may include its Galaxy directory listing. Do not send API keys, passwords, OAuth tokens, private data or internal network addresses.
Review your request before posting it publicly. Sending a request does not automatically add the site or authorize an account. The publisher checks the site's public endpoint and compatibility before adding it. If enabled, each user must then authorize their own account through the secure connection form. There is no guaranteed approval or response time.
What to include
Tell us which AI client and Galaxy instance you use, what you expected, the approximate time, and the visible error message. Remove private data and unrelated chat titles from screenshots. Do not send passwords, API keys, OAuth tokens, raw sequencing files or sensitive research results.
Connection problems
Check that you selected the instance where your account exists and that your Galaxy API key is current. Authorizations last at most 30 days; you may need to reconnect. Your AI client's custom-connector availability and the Galaxy instance's availability are independent of this service.
A report card is blank
A successful data request does not prove that the AI client displayed the card. Try reopening the conversation or use the history link in Galaxy. Ask the assistant to read a supported text report if interactive HTML is unavailable.
An analysis is waiting or failed
Check the existing job in Galaxy before resubmitting. Refreshing the status card does not launch another analysis. Galaxy queues, tool failures and account quotas are controlled by the selected instance.
Disconnect or request deletion
Ask your connected assistant to “manage my Galaxy connections.” The plugin creates a private five-minute link where you can remove one authorized site or disconnect that client. The management page uses the plugin's current authorization, not a browser login cookie, and each action works only once. Removing an app alone may not send token revocation. Revoke the API key in Galaxy to immediately block further use of that key. These actions do not delete Galaxy data or cancel running jobs. For recovery-backup deletion, use the private contact form.
