Terms of use
These terms describe use of the Galaxy plugin and hosted MCP service. See support for public help and private contact options. Review these terms and the privacy notice before connecting an account.
Research use
This service connects a compatible AI client to an account you control on an approved Galaxy instance. Use it only for authorized, non-sensitive research. It is not intended for clinical decisions, regulated data, identifiable human-subject data or other restricted information. It is not designed for children under 13.
Your account and permissions
Connect only an account and data you are authorized to use. Keep your credentials private, review requested permissions, and comply with your Galaxy instance's terms, quotas and acceptable-use rules, your AI provider's terms, applicable law, and dataset or tool licenses. Do not use the service to obtain unauthorized access, evade restrictions, disrupt other users, or conduct prohibited analyses.
Analyses and results
Review input selection, tool versions, parameters and destination history before requesting execution. Submitted work runs on the selected Galaxy instance and may consume your storage or compute quota. Inspect an existing job before retrying to avoid duplicate execution. A completed job does not establish scientific correctness; independently verify results and AI interpretations. Disconnecting does not necessarily cancel running jobs.
Preview availability
Features and supported clients or instances may change. Interactive cards depend on the AI host and may fail to display or reopen. No uptime, recovery time, support response time or scientific accuracy guarantee is offered for this research preview. Maintain your own copies of important data and workflows in appropriate storage.
Stopping use
You may stop using the plugin, manage Galaxy connections, or revoke your Galaxy API key. See support for the difference between removing a client app and revoking its server-side authorization. Access may be restricted when needed to protect the service or address misuse. Changes to these terms will be published on this page.
